The orchestra preparing for the concert on a sunny afternoon ...

The concert opened with
the dramatic brass introduction of Sibelius' "Finlandia".
We toured to Britain for the "Somerset Rhapsody" by Holst before playing Borodin's "Polovtsian Dances".

In the second half, we continued our tour with Bizet's L’Arlésienne Suite no 2 and Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody.

Our next event will be the
informal concert at the end of our Symphony workshop weekend on 31st
August.
