Invitation to the Dance 

Brahms: Hungarian Dance no 5 and another lively Saint-Saëns piece: Bacchanale completed the first half.  The orchestra then gave a toe-tapping performance of Tritsch Tratsch Polka before moving on to Tangos.  Here part of the orchestra is seen from the violin side ...

Our concert master featured as the soloist in Piazzolla's Oblivion in an arrangement for strings.  This moving piece was originally commissioned for the film Henrico IV.
