Christmas Cracker 2022

This concert was held at our usual venue of St James Church.  The roses were in full bloom.


The concert, which featured Chilton Saint James's Seraphim Choir, drew a large audience.

Our music Director Mark Carter introducing the first item Prokofiev's "Troika" with it's dramatic atonal start.


Vivaldi's double violin concerto featured HVO soloists.

The choir accompanied by the orchestra gave beautiful performances of "O Holy Night" and Rutter's "Angels' Carol".

They also delighted the audience with their performance of "Love Divine" accompanied by the organ.

In the second half of the concert, the orchestra played two Tchaikovsky pieces: the dramatic "Marche Slave" and the "Nutcracker Suite".  The audience was able to join in with two Christmas Carols before the concert concluded with "Highlights from Harry Potter"  and Sheldon's "A Most Wonderful Christmas".
