Gallery Orchestra and Hutt Valley Concert Orchestra

This is a combined concert featuring the Gallery Orchestra and the hvo, each playing separate pieces before combining to play together. Players in the Gallery Orchestra take part in the Lower Hutt Saturday morning instrumental classes. They will have just completed a workshop under the direction of Owen Clarke and will play some of the works studied there.

   ABBA. Selection of their music.

hvo Orchestra:
   Schubert. Unfinished Symphony in B minor
   Suppe. Overture - Poet and Peasant

Combined orchestra:
   Smetana. Polka from The Bartered Bride.
   Mascagni. Intermezzo from Cavalleria Rusticana
